Willow Norton is an Oregon-based director and teacher with a focus on new work development.

As Artist in Residence at Lane Community College, she directed Constant RevolutionIn The Next Room or the vibrator play, and Turning Red.  Recent directing projects include Marjorie Prime for Oregon Contemporary Theatre, END OF THE ROPE for NorthWest 10; LUNA PARK and RAIN AND ZOE SAVE THE WORLD for Oregon Performance Lab, where she is Artistic Director; Goodbye Avis at New York Theatre Workshop; ¡Bocón!, RENT, and A Thousand Cranes for The Majestic Theatre; S.H.A.V.E.D. at HERE Arts Center; and Instructions Included for The Midtown International Festival.  Norton is a 2012 Director’s Lab West Alumni.  Norton holds a BFA in Theater: Original Works from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA.  She was also as Associate Treasurer at The Shubert Theatre working on MATILDA The Musical on Broadway.  Currently pursuing a Masters of Nonprofit Management with an Arts and Cultural Leadership Focus at the University of Oregon. 

As a Teaching Artist, Willow has worked at Lane Community College, Imagine That Eugene, Stages for Corvallis High School, ACE Academy, Philadelphia Young Playwrights, Washington Academy of Performing Arts, and Cornish College of the Arts.  Willow is a Teaching Artist for Tectonic Theater Project's Moment Work technique.
